I’m in Suffolk County, NY and just got Fios. Internet cuts out all the time, so I turn it off on computer and reload pages. I’m in a mid-size one bedroom apartment that was built with everything in place for both VZW and Optimum. While it stops working on my laptop, my iPad continues to play the movie or audiobook I’m streaming. I’m a graphic designer focused primarily on print-related stuff, so just need consistent, reliable access. I use my laptop everywhere in my apartment, so an Ethernet connection to the VZW router is not a solution. Any suggestions??? TIA!
