The servers at 'pop.verizon.net' and 'incoming.verizon.net' that are used for email clients are not responding, tried pinging the servers as listed and directly to their IP's. Constant no reponse/time-outs. Can access account via webmail. Help!

"Help" is evidently available by just waiting. I had the same experience yesterday morning (03 Mar 13 AM) with the VZ servers, which simply refused to respond and timed out. A few hours later they were back up and running. It was a bit frustrating when trying to get information on server status, since some sites reported the VZ servers were up, and some reported the opposite. Now it seems all's well.
