Verizon email sub-account

Though I absolutely disagree with the policy of limiting the subaccount to 256 MB, is the a way to swap the subaccount and primary? That way the subaccount person gets 2GB and the primary gets 250MB. I download all my mail while my wife keeps all her mail on the Verizon server. I don't need the space, she does! She keeps getting messages that her account is full.
