Email Via Iphone-error--"POP account verification failed"

Maybe someone can help with this.--I tried to link my iPhone to my verizon email account and got the following:

"POP account verification failed-The user name or password for "incoming.verizon.net" is incorrect"

any help would be appreciated--I have verified my user name and password and have no difficulty/problem logging into my verizon email--which is using the VERIZON/YAHOO email system.

If you are using Verizon/Yahoo, then you need to change our servers to incoming.yahoo.verizon.net and outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

Your login info should be the same.
