mail.verizon.com login rejects my password, forces me to use verizon.net login.

I like to login in directly to my mail.verizon.com account is skip all the marketing hype at verizon.net. I no longer can do that. The password page at mail.verizon.com says its the wrong password, which is not true. To get into my email I now have to go through the verizon.net site. How can we login in directly to our email account like before? Has that privilege been taken away?

First the site is webmail.verizon.com. what you entered should resolve to there. the sign in is your username not the email address. If you still cant sign in follow the forgot my password link and do a password reset. I use to have this problem, but it stopped happening. I would sonetime have to have tech support do a reset for it to work.
