Outlook 2003

I use the following Verizon servers with my Outlook:

incoming.yahoo.verizon.net

outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

All of a sudden, yesterday, I was unable to send emails through Outlook. I can receive, but not send. I tried changing the Port numbers per some FAQ's I saw on Verizon's web site...but nothing is working. Any ideas?

I had the same problem, also started yesterday. I changed the outgoing port to 587 and its working now.

Consider moving your Email account from yahoo.verizon.net because there is discontinuance of services with Yahoo.

Verizon is only discontinuing Yahoo in certain areas. (Those that are part of the Frontier sale.)
