how do I login to the 3100

Question

I have spectrum internet with a router that works.  I want the g3100 to be an extender.  I have a computer with wifi access to my network and the g3100 LAN 4 plugged into the computer's LAN port with an internet cord.

Tried 192.168.1.1 and that brought me to the spectrum router.  192.168.1.101 went nowhere.  I'm not a network specialist and could use any help so I can have wifi in my shed.

please ignore. i rebooted the 3100 and the 192.168.1.1 worked swimmingly. all set now. THANKS
