Email link to Outlook 2010- successful test email, get MS Outlook: Operation Failed - HELP

I'm having trouble linking my email account into Outlook 2010 as a secondary account.

I go through all the steps in the setup doc, send a successful test document (which I receive in my verizon web mail account, but when I close the message: Congratulation! All test completed successfully. Click Close to continue.,

I get the following Microsoft Outlook message:

The requested operation failed.

And it does not save the secondary account.

Can anyone help?

I am having the same problem. Ciustomer Service calls are of no help.
