Our landline phone went dead and it appears to be the wires leading to the house. A repair tech came out and instead of repairing the landline he wanted to install a large fios box on the wall near an electrical outlet in our finished basement. I told him I didn't want the large box on the wall or any of the services that box was capable of delivering, so the tech left without repairing my landline phone saying he couldn't touch the landline. We are senior citizens and have the landline phone for 911 emergencies. Who do we call to get our phone service back? I am still receiving bills for a service I am no longer receiving. It is hard to believe this is even legal and I don't understand the customer support people at all with their accents or appreciate the 45 minutes it took for my call to be answered. Please help!
