When I try to get to my Verizon E Mail this morning, I get the following error. {"res":{},"error":{"code":"3002","msg":"3002"}}
Can anyone help?
I have contacted Verizon and the software people believe this may be a server problem. If you are experiencing the same problem, please report it to Verizon as it will help them to get the repair made sooner. They have put me back on the old E mail version which is working so the problem is with the new E mail page.
I, too, am experiencing this same error problem. Hope a cure is found soon. jdeere
I'm getting the same message, so I think so...
My Apple mail says:
Alert
Mail could not log in to the account “verizon.net” because of a temporary server error. Try again later.
The server returned the error: Service Temporarily Unavailable.

My web browser, phone, and mail program on my computer can't access it, so something must be down in the NE....
It is odd. My email acount is showing this same error and Outlook can't receive email. If I move 5 feet over to my wife's PC, Outlook works fine on her verizon account.
Maybe one of the databases crashed?

Oh I wasn't doubting you. My point, athough not expressly mentioned, is that ALL of Verizon's email servers are NOT down. If you and others would update your profile here to include where you are located (at least the state, preferably city and state) then when multiple people post with a problem it would be easy to tell, or at least get an idea, if it is geographic in nature or systemwide.
Just a suggestion for us to help you and you to help others.....
I'm in MD and haven't rec'd email to my phone since 8:25, can't log into it on the computer either...

I didn't think that you doubted me; I was pointing out that it must not be nationwide and is likely located in the NE (North East).
In NY here.
But, since it is down in CA also, maybe it is a database failure that affects only certain accounts...

Down in PIttsburgh PA. Last email received on phone at 8:38 a.m. Can't login on computer -- phone keeps telling me my password is wrong.
It's down in southwestern Florida as well. To the Verizon rep, any idea how quickly this issue is going to resolve? I run a few business accounts through this particular email and need to access responses ASAP.
This is annoying. How can a company this big not have sufficient backup systems?
My wife's email is down in Northern VA. However, my email is working fine, and we have the same "verizon" account, but different email addresses.
my email is down also, I live in Belleville, NJ. An ETA for the problem being resolved would be very nice

In Harrisburg PA email down. Just spoke with verizon tech, said it might down until tomorrow morning. Wow.

I hope he was just misinformed. That kind of loss of service with a crucial service like e-mail is grounds for me to drop FIOS and switch back to cable modem. I never had my e-mail stop working with Cablevision...
down until tomorrow morning is unacceptable. Verizon no longer has any customer service. They act as if we should be thankful that they allow us to pay them for their service. If I don't have email by noon I will be calling the Board of Public Utilities
Same thing today Oct. 1, 2012. My wife's account works but two other accounts won't show email.
Good idea. I will file with the BBB as well.
Google email doesn't even have issues like this and it's free! Verizon will lose many costumers for sure!
