MMORPGs (Multi-player Online Games) Not Working

There are two online multi-player games I usually play from gPotato.com that stopped working in the past few weeks. Both games give me a message saying that it cannot connect to the server. The games are not under the maintenance when I am trying to play them. How can I fix this problem? Would it be fixed if I completely reset the router?

It depends on where the problem is, first of all. What I would do first is check over your modem's firewall as well as the PC's software firewall. Make sure the PC's firewall is not blocking the applications (disabling it should prove this). If you tell us which modem you have, we can help you check to make sure the modem's firewall, if enabled isn't being too restrictive. Generally, anything higher than "Low" tends to break games.
