Nook WiFi connection issues

I got a Nook for Christmas and have struggled to get it to conenct to my home WiFi. I have a Westell 327W and would love any suggestions, tips, etc.

Go to http://192.168.1.1/ in your web browser. What kind of page do you see? A White and Blue Westell-branded page or do you see a Red and Black Verizon page? It's possible your 327w simply needs a firmware upgrade.
