I was reviewing and paying my Verizon bill this morning and I am not disputing the charges.
My question is: On my call log, there are outgoing calls from my landline listed for 3 different phone numbers that I never called. And there is one in particular that comes up repeatedly at all of these various times when I was at work. How can I possibly call from my landline phone when I am at work?
This doesn't affect the dollar amount of my bill since I have unlimited calling but this is very strange.
So I got on a live chat with a CSR who transferred me to a tech support person who was contacting his support team about this and then the session timed out.
Then later I got this call from a company listed as "Progressive". It was very hard to understand the voice mail message left because the tone was very low and it wasn't clear. It said something about these charges being removed. But I never asked to have the amount of my bill reduced. I just want to know why there are these outgoing calls on my call log that I never made and when I am the only person who has access to this account. I am the only person who can ever call anyone from that landline.
Meanwhile, all of these calls that I never made are still listed on my call log.
Are my phone lines being crossed with someone else's?
What's going on and how do we resolve this? Do I get on live chat again? It's very strange.
