How can I "force" a TV or Computer to connect with the Wifi 6 Extender?

Hi

I have the Next Gen Wifi 6 Router and the Extender too.

Both connected via Coax so I have one wifi "connection".

The extender is in the opposite side of the house. The problem is that I think no device is connected to the Extender and use the advantage of the extended coverage.

Is there a way to "force" to connect a specific device to the extender? Because if not I still have the TV that has internet issue and there is the extender in front of it.

Am I saying something wrong?

Someone had this problem too?

Not a solution per se, but what color is the light on the extender? solid white?

Are you able to use an app to test signal strength? (android has more/better apps, i believe) - this should really tell you if it is, indeed working.

Finally, sometimes it helps to 'disconnect/forget' the network from the device (your TV) and reconnect (truly scientific, right).
