It's been bad and only seems to be getting worse. It's all obvious stuff too. Will this ever be resolved? Yes my spam filter is on but let's face it, it doesn't really catch much spam.
Verizon bought AOL and will be switching everyone over to its email service. It has a different, reportedly better, spam checker.
Do you have any idea when they are planning on doing this?

For the states being sold off, i.e. California, Florida and Texas, this is already in progress. We get a message saying "Your verizon.net email must be moved to AOL before March 31, 2016". see https://www.verizon.com/support/consumer/email
