How can I get rid of annoying home screen page which comes on when I first turn on my tv set?
I already had Promotions disabled but it still came on. I think they have made changes to it. I went back and hit DISABLE again. Hope that works. Now it seems like you can scroll on that Home Page. There is a place on the Home Screen near the bottom right side where you can see how to disable it. However, my setting was already on Disable for Promotions..On Menu go to Settings then Notications, then Promotions and disable promotions. Mine was already set to Disable, however.

Tried your suggestion. It does not work!! Mine says disabled buut it still comes on.

Have you tried rebooting your box? unplug it wait a minute then plug it back in. Let it cycle then check the settings again.
I had to do this after the recent update for menu setting changes to stick.
Yeah now we have a home page like before when you turn your stb on but it does give you the option the disable it like before but the disable feature doesnt work as I disable mine when it first came out but this new one wont. I called them about it and they said you should be able to turn it off so there must be a screw up in the program.

Unplugged the set top box, it didn't work.
The home page screen is always on the screen when I turn the TV on.
