New FiOS TV Central Website

We've discovered a technical issue for a certain group of customers that causes the issue with re-directing to the On Demand page. We are working to get this quickly resolved. The header page is corrupted and top portion has no graphics, just text. This occurred after a Java update.

I just visited the TV Central website using in turn Firefox 3.5, IE 8, Chrome, and then Safari, all on Windows 7 64-bit, and it looked ok on all of them. And the performance seemed pretty (surprisingly) good. I don't know if Java is related to your issue or not, but I think I am using the most current level and it doesn't seem to affect me. Now I have seen what you are describing occasionally in the past on the Forum pages, but not lately, never was able to figure out what was causing it.

I don't particularly like the new page layouts, but I suppose over time I will get used to them.

I'm running two machines with Windows XP SP3. Both have MS IE 8 and both recently received MS and Java updates. Neither computer can load the Fios Central main web page correctly. The very top header portion of the web page is no graphics but blue text in a column to the left of the page. As I scroll down the page several inches, the web page begins to take on it's normal view. When I open the same web page in Mozilla Firefox, the web page opens normally. Some of the other Fios Central web pages are doing the same thing. There is another user in the "Fios Internet" forum, Topdog, who is having the same problems.

I am having problems with the My Verizon page,and the forum pages. I have two computers one running Vista and the other XP. Both are affected. Both received critical updates from microsoft today and experienced the problen soon after getting the updates. Hope this helps .

Yeah, I saw your other post and his over there. The difference might be the service, I have not installed the new service yet, I always wait a week or two just to see what issues show up. As I said, I have seen that similar symptom on Forum pages occasionally in the past. The issue, whatever it was, always went away, sometimes just when I refreshed the page, other times from one logon to the next, but no pattern or predictability that I could see.

Anyway, for me, no issues. Smiley Surprised Hope they get it fixed quickly.

The new Verizon home page and sign-in page are now displaying properly on our two computers. It was fixed today. However, the Community Forum pages are still not displaying properly on the computer with Windows Vista.. The computer with XP just got the Community Forum pages displaying properly. The one with Vista is much more messed up as far as display than the one with XP was. I hope this is fixed soon as it is hard to read or type any messages on these forum pages.

Working fine here with the latest Firefox on Vista 64 Professional.

In my case, downloading the following Windows Update caused Verizon pages not to properly load: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP (KB2360131). If I am not signed in to my account, the Support>Forums page does not display properly; if I am signed in, then all pages display properly.

I have solved the problem of the Verizon Forum pages not displaying properly. In order for these pages to display properly, you must sign in and go to forums on the new Verizon home page. You can NOT click in on forum on the the old Verizon central page. If you do, the pages will not display properly. Even if you have the Verizon Forum in your Favorites, as I do, first you must sign in and go to the forum from the new Verizon home page. That means those who are not internet customers of Verizon, can not use the pages unless they don't mind getting pages that are all messed up. I don't know if this was done purposely, but right now it's like the Comcast forums. Only customers can get the forum pages. After they take off the old page those who aren't customers won't be able to get into the forum unless Verizon makes some changes. I am going to relay this on Feedback to see if it was done purposely.

Currently, all Verizon pages are now loading properly for me...regardless of my Verizon account sign-in/sign-out status.

i wanted to show my parents how the order would work and we would be doing it today or tomorrow online..well now i select the 124 dollar triple play ultimate hd package and it just brings me to a diff screen gives me choices of services to add or digital voice bundle so i select voice bundle and it just brings me back to where i just was on select a bundle page..this was working fine 2 days ago now its not..is it a problem with there site?

i have tried explorer,firefox and chrome all the same thing..i hit check availability put it my verizon landline phone number i choose to create a bundle i select tv and internet and phone is already checked the 3 tiers come up i hit select and customize on tier 3 which is ultimate hd a popup window comes up explaining the digital voice switch i x out of that and a few days ago this is when it would take me to start going through the order process

but instead now it brings me to add/change service page so it has separate options for tv and internet and then one for digital voice bundle so thats what i want

so i select that and that brings me back to the previous page i was just on where i have to select the package of 3 tiers..its just a loop..i cant seem to get to the order process for this package and im doing it the way ive done it all week long when i was checking out things

No matter what I enter into the popup feedback form I always get the Please Enter your comments error at the bottom of the page when I click Submit. All fields are filled in and there are no other messages. The feedback is never sent because it never works.

Has the problem with web site going to the on demand page been repaired? Everytime I go to Verizon central, the on demand site pops up and you can't go any further. Is there a fix out yet?

HELP! I am still being redirected to the On Demand page. I have called Verizon tech support and they cannot resolve the issue nor are they even aware of it. I have tried with several browsers on different computers. I cannot access TV listings or access remote DVR functions.

Well, if it's any help, the site is working and we've accessed it with 2 separate computers. When we had FiOS

installed, the tech left a package with a direct line to his technical support group and also installed several

bookmarks which have been very helpful to navigate around with. If you have a local Verizon (not wireless) store,

you could try calling them. They've been able to expedite things like this very well. Good luck!

I'm having the same problem here. Two different computers on different networks. Tried IE8, Firefox 4, and Google Chrome.

I start from my verizon webmail page, and go to my account. (I have to login for the webmail page, then again with the my account page, but whatever...) Any time I try to navigate to a page that requires me to be logged in (which I am), I get redirected back to:

https://www36.verizon.com/fiostv/web/members/OnDemandHome.aspx

I have tried logging out, relogging in. I have tried clearing my cache. I have tried logging out, clearing my cache, cycling my PC, then logging back in. I'm still redirected every time.

I'm trying to add a movie package to my TV account, but Verizon apparently doesn't want my business.

Whan are you ever going to fix this? I used to be able to program my DVR from my PC at work.

The original problem that started this thread was fixed long ago.

Others have posted some other problems, including me. Mine at least had to be handled by fixing code in the backend, but again has long been fixed. Mine had to do with the combining of ids from the previous seperate systems when all ids were previously the same but each had different passwords.

You probably need to open a problem record with the support group.

Been having problem past 2 days of the TV listing not loading. Only get headers and time banner with nothing under it.

I was able to access TV listing on ZAP2, so TV listing site is not down - problem is coming from Verizon.The Verizon web-site has also been eternally slow the last few days. Anyone else experiencing these problems and know what's going on?

I am having a problem with setting up to re-cord a series with FireFox. The window with the options appears fine, but the "OK" nor the "Cancel" buttons do not show on that window, and I cannot scroll down to get to these buttons The same thing happens when I use Crome. Internet Explorer is the only browser in which these buttons appears.

VERY UNHAPPY! We are FIOS TV customers with large bundled package which INCLUDES HD and HBO. We suddenly have no access to HBO or HD services. WHY???????
