Verizion has added a new movie channel that is a channel that offers movies that are directly from the MGM vault. This Tv Network has been added to the new jersey and new york area where it is scheduled to be added to some other areas if it is not already there like in the state of california. It is primarily a movie network but there are some old classic shows on there too. This Tv is located at channel 490 on the guide but the problem with that channel is that the logo that is there is the logo of channel 462 estrella tv a channel from mexico. There are actually a whole bunch of logo issues on the guide where NESN channel 97 has no logo, channel 55 sd or 555 in hd has a bourne identity logo when it really is a japanese on demand movie called hara-kiri: death of a samurai. The same goes for channel 145 sd 645 hd which has an on demand logo there for a olivia munn movie called babymakers when what the guide has listed is a megan fox on demand movie called friends with kids and channel 940 has a on demand logo for salmon fishing in the yemen but the on demand movie there is that will ferrell movie casa de mi padre.

i just noticed this evening that we have this tv...i'd love to actually see it. i'm getting estrella tv logo and no picture yet. i called technical support and was told there was an issue at their video hub in queens...but he said he did not see a report of an outage.it may take a few days..i guess i'll wait a few then call again.. just wondering when they actually added the channel..

They added this tv friday evening where the picture is fine from what i can tell. The logo is at the bottom right hand corner of the screen but the estrella tv logo is on the guide. American graffitti with harrison ford was just on and now frankie and johnny with al pacino is on. Me-Tv is a channel that many people expect will be added at some point but if you were to do a little research about it you will see that there is no local affiliate in the tri-state area for me-tv as of right now. There is a national me-tv channel that mgm who owns me-tv said would be made available to everyone but as of yet the new jersey new york area has yet to find an affiliate. At some point it will since me-tv is a part of the mgm family where it is almost a given that if there is a this tv me-tv is very likely to be added since it is its sister network.

Yes there is already a Me-TV affiliate in NY/NJ. WSAH on channel 19. Verizon has been carrying it for months.

Except that the local affiliate does not carry the complete programming schedule. Several of the late night shows featured on meTV's commercials are not aired here in the metro area, because the affiliate airs paid programming (infomercials) instead. So, no Twilight Zone for the midnightman.
