I have a caller calling my house about someone who doesn't live here and I need to block that number but it comes up private.
If the number is showing "PRIVATE", dial "*77". This activates "Anonymous Call Rejection". Calls marked "PRIVATE" will be blocked. However, those marked "Unknown", "Out of Area" or "Unavailable" will not.
