Is there a way to shut down access to wifi at midnight every night?
The DSL Gateway Verizon supplied should have Parental Controls which can be configured. Check out http://192.168.1.1/ and a link to the Parental Controls should be at the top.
The default login is usually admin/password or admin/admin
