How to install & activate the WPS on my Model GT784WNV Verizon DSL Action Tec Router? The basic setting button shows that the 404 is not found - file is not found. I get a micro-http link which is a unix based http server and will not open on my XP. Thank you very much! SP

WPS is known to be vulnerable to a number of attacks. As such, if you can avoid using it, that is the basic suggestion around here.

With that said, WPS should be functional on the ActionTec modems out of the box without any additional configuration needed. If you're getting 404 messages when trying to visit the WPS Settings, though, you may want to give your modem a factory reset. It's also possible a firmware update has removed WPS support.
