I just switched to FIOS from Comcast. I am very surprised that basic channels like BBC and Smithonian are not included with the Prime HD plan that I have. Also the availability of FREE on demand selections is minimal, at best......
This should not have come as a surprise. You can easily go on Verizon's website and there is a package comparison that tells you what channels are in each package. I assume most people would check this before deciding on what package to get.
I noticed that to add these two channels and only a few more I must pay quite a bit!
It is not worth it for two channels was my point. Sorry if I did not explain it clearly.....
