When is Verizon Fios going to carry The Blaze TV?
From its webpage, seems to a web only subscription ultra-conservative service. I saw nothing about cable.
No it's available on Dish Network. Also, where does it say Ultra-Conservative on their website because I couldn't find it?
Lol I was kidding because I thought it was interesting he had to tag it with Ultra. As though it was something bad to be conservative. Although I guess that opens the door to label MSNBC Ultra-Liberal or Marxist which ever you prefer. I was more interested in a news organization that holds every politician accountable not just ones they are hoping will give them a govt job. I would list all the news and media organizations the President hired, but I don't think the post allows that much text.
I would consider The BlazeTV (and Glenn Beck) to be Conservative. I consider that a positive thing. Labeling it "ultra-conservative" - I don't think so. But everyone is entitled to an opinion (for now). I would like to see BlazeTV on FiOS TV to help counter what i see as a liberal slant in TV news programming today.
Yes, please carry TheBlaze, it would be great!!
The Blaze is about as worthwhile for real news as Howard TV is, and I'd rather have Howard TV. Beck is a phony, and the less $ going to him the better.
On its one-year anniversary, the conservative commentator’s 24-hour online news and entertainment network The Blaze is heading to cable and satellite TV through an exclusive partnership with Dish network, the TheBlaze TV network announced today.
So forget it for now.

I gotta agree
Please carry The Blaze TV soon!!
Another person wanting The Blaze TV on Verizon Fios.
I am a Verizon FiOS subscriber who would also like to have TheBlaze TV added to the channel lineup.
Glenn Beck is a conservative broadcaster who speaks the truth.
I don't know what happened to this country but if the government keeps borrowing 40 cents of every dollar they spend, eventually the economy will collapse and Verizon will lose their customers.
Wake up before it’s too late folks.

ONCE AGAIN ITS AN EXCLUSIVE DEAL. Even if more of us wanted it (I definitely don't), Verizon cannot carry it.
From the official annoucement, "On its one-year anniversary, the conservative commentator’s 24-hour online news and entertainment network The Blaze is heading to cable and satellite TV through an exclusive partnership with Dish network, the TheBlaze TV network announced today."
For those of you who don't seem to want to read or believe the posts by tns, here is a link to the announcement about it being available exclusively on Dish Network, so you can see it for yourself:

Based on what I read there, it sounds like it will be at least a year before it might be available to any other satellite or cable service (or FiOS).

I would like to see "The Blaze" as an additional news channel. It would provide an additional viewpoint of current events.
I agree, FIOS TV needs to carry The Blaze TV. It will be a nice balance to the rest of the media you find on TV.
The blaze is kinda nitch programming. AND ITS NOT AVAILABLE as a channel to verizon users because its exclusive to DISH. Probably for a year.
Please add GBTV...
Yes right this minute it is exclusive... but Glenn has said to ask your provider to add GBTV
in the near future...
R.
"Based on what I read there, it sounds like it will be at least a year before it might be available to any other satellite or cable service (or FiOS)."
If we America survives as a country for another year then hopefully Verizon will offer The Blaze TV as part of their channel line-up.
I thought Glenn Beck mentioned during one of his radio broadcasts that while The Blaze TV is currently being offered as a part of a Dish subscriber's channel line-up in the future it would become an optional "pay for" channel.
{please keep it relevant}
Has it been clarified that DirectTV got the exclusive for a whole year? I remember there being news articles saying that they were already in discussions with other cable/satellite companies.
At any rate, I'd love to have it on FIOS. Since the audio is now being carried streaming for free (radio show and all tv shows) on both TheBlaze app and on I Heart Radio, I would still be able to at least listend to the show on my iPad and iPhone, and I'd save the monthly cost of subscribing to GBTV/TheBlazeTV. And if I wanted to watch the shows later on FIOS, I could just DVR.
I, too, would like to see The Blaze added to the FIOS lineup. I would even pay a fee similar to the Disney Family Movies channel.
As far as the political "slant" of the content, I challenge everyone to research for yourselves using reliable resources everything Glenn says with exception to things he says are his personal opinion. He created a personal research group to do in-depth research on all topics BEFORE he uses the material on the air. He then created The Blaze news web site using that group before leaving Fox. He is dedicated to the truth. He appears ultra-conservative because most of the other media is so liberal, especially MSNBC.
I would also love to see it on FiOS, maybe carrying it on the same level of service as Current TV. It sounds like a similar channel to Current, just from the other end of the political spectrum.
The Blaze TV is available on DISH Network.
The Ultra Conservative was just a jab at you because you like Glenn Beck. We should have The Blaze TV. Fair and Balances in television programming to say the least.
@Caps09 wrote: I would also love to see it on FiOS, maybe carrying it on the same level of service as Current TV. It sounds like a similar channel to Current, just from the other end of the political spectrum.
Instead of adding another useless talking head like Glenn Beck to counter balance the unwatched Current TV channel I'd rather see them just drop Current TV. Nobody watches it anyway just like very few people (except for the zealots) would watch Blaze TV.
Sorry, but I have no interest in watching (and really PAYING FOR) ANY left and right wing crybabyfest channels.

To each his own. I've actually seen some well made and interesting documentaries on CurrentTV.
I am a new Verizon FIOS Bundler....was disappointed to see 'The Blaze' TV was not in the lineup of our 'Ultimate' package.
Would be VERY grateful if 'THE BLAZE' could be added in the near future.

I totally agree...ADD The Baze TV network to FIOS PLEASE!!
The Glenn Beck netwrok?? Surely you jest!
"The Glenn Beck netwrok?? Surely you jest!"
I suppose you would prefer Al Jazeera Current TV instead.
It's time for a news channel that represents my values. If I am to remain a customer it is important that my voice is reflected in the choices of available programming. Please add TheBlaze to your channel lineup. If it's not eventally offered, I think I might have cancel my account with Verizon and switch to Dish Network since they offer than channel.
One of the reasons I switched from Cable to Verizon is the large variety of channels that cater to all groups and ideas. Having lived in a 3rd world country where the prevailing political party dictated the content of channels this is a refreshing change. And this is why I appreciate the freedom we have in the United States for individuals to to have access to those outlets that cater to their views. And that is why I would like to request that Verizon Fios continue their philosophy of diversity in their programming and add TheBlaze to their channel lineup. This is a privately owned channel with no specific agenda other than disseminating and informing the truth free of political and corporate pressures. It provides family friendly programming and unbiased information beneficial to all groups whether ethnic, political, religious or nonreligious. This is a refreshing alternative that would contribute to the diverse programming of Verizon Fios that I so appreciate.
Please add The Blaze TV to your channel offerings. I have to use Roku now to watch it, giving me less reasons to be a Verizon subscriber.
If Verizon insists on broadcasting Al Gore's Al Jazeera network (a.k.a. Current TV) the least they can do is offer their American subscriber base access to The Blaze TV.
Verizon offers many channels. Realistically they can't provide EVERY channel that might be available. Each channel that is added will increase the cost to every user subscribed to the package that provides that additional cannel.
Having taken a quick look at The Blaze website I would diagree with the statement that they have "no specific agenda." Whether or not you, me or readers of this post agrees with them is irrelevant. They do have a political agenda.
In my opinion there is already sufficient diversity of views in Verizon's program lineup that I would not wish to pay extra for TheBlaze TV.
@Baggs wrote:Would like to know why we do not have the Blaze Network with Glenn Beck.
Ummm...maybe because he's crazy?? What's next... The Manson Channel?
"Verizon offers many channels. Realistically they can't provide EVERY channel that might be available. Each channel that is added will increase the cost to every user subscribed to the package that provides that additional cannel."
Even if Verizon were to drop the Al Jazeera network, which is included with my Ultimate HD package, I would be willing to pay an additional up charge similar to those not-so-premium movie channels in order to subscribe to Glenn Beck TV.
"Ummm...maybe because he's crazy?? What's next... The Manson Channel?"
I WANT VERIZON TO OFFER THE BLAZE TV....DISH NETWORK ALREADY HAS IT AS OF FEBRUARY 25TH 2013....
blaze tv is excellent content and many viewers want it added to verizon...
who's so nuts that even Fox canned him...and THAT'S saying something!
And, if I may further illustrate, your comment : "Al Gore's Al Jazeera network" is not correct. It was Gore's CURRENT TV. But he sold it to AJ and it's now theirs, not Gore's. (And no, I wouldn't watch that either.)

The is a request to get THE BEST CHANNEL on the PLANET to all of your subcribers...you are probably un-informed of the country's problems and political situation that is threatening the existance of our country as a free nation. Get THE BLAZE available now please
I Agree! Get THE BLAZE on Verizon FIOS as soon as possible!
WOW!! Beck must really be strapped for cash, he got all his robot minions to spam every single cable company message board and forum they can find.
I think the fios line up would be greatly enhanced by adding the Blaze network to the line. It's news and information from a libertarian view. I don't think this is offered on any other network
I just wanted to start a forum to get The Blaze added to Verizon Fios. I am actually going to go back to ComCast soon because Fios is so expensive, but would consider staying if Fios adds The Blaze.
It is absolutely NOT exclusive to DISH
I would also
Also adding a request to add The Blaze TV to the channel line-up
I was going to switch back to comcast anyway because my fios bill has been gradually getting larger and larger since having the equipment installed and also, the fact that no one from verizon has responded to any of these posts. Not sure of Comcasts stance on the balze; i'm sure they are progressive liberals as well, but atleast it will be cheaper for me to fund al-jazeera, al sharpton and al gwh*re, right?

First off, this is a PEER to PEER forum, with the exception of the MODS making sure nothing inappropriate is posted Verizon does not monitor or respond to these posts.
You have a lessor chance of Comcast adding the Balze as you do Verizon.
I remember when Rupert Murdoch had to sue Time Warner to get them to carry The FOX News channel.
Maybe Glenn Beck should consider doing the same.
The left wing elites are attempting to influence American's attitudes to favor socialism by censoring conservative news and viewpoints.
The low information voter is being mesmerized by their Honey Boo Boos, Buckwilds and Al Jazeera TV programs and don't realize they are being manipulated by the oligarchy of the leftist elites.
I don't think it's such a vast conspiracy. It's a new (and independent) network that will take time to grow. The "big" news channels demand carriage in bundles with other networks owned by FOX, NBC, and Turner channels, respectively.
Just because a former radio DJ turned phony political leader starts a TV network doesn't mean it has to be carried by cable providers. Have Beck BUY TV time for awhile, prove he can get ratings, then come back to the table.

Verizon may or may not want to carry Blaze. But even if they do they will have to wait out the current exclusive deal that Blaze made with Dish.
To everyone posting, here's a link that Verizon FIOS posted to their Facebook page for you to officially submit your request.
http://vz.to/TheBlaze
All of these posts on Facebook and the discussion board are not being read by the people who make the decisions. That said, I would add your request in both--one so the decision-makers can see it, and one so that public can see it too.
Given all the interest in this channel, I think Verizon would be foolish not to listen. All the interest on Twitter, Facebook, and the discussion boards translate to paying customers.

i agree, we NEED the blaze. Glenn is right on with the problems in America.
I am all for TheBlaze TV coming to FIOS. Please add it to the lineup!
I would also like to see the blaze in the line up.
I would also like to see The Blaze TV in the channels offered by Verizon.
I'm giving FIOS a month to add the blaze then I am moving to DISH and the hopper!
I'm giving you one month to add The Blaze or I am changing to Dish. I have been to his studio and it is amazing.
@JANETE wrote: I'm giving you one month to add The Blaze or I am changing to Dish. I have been to his studio and it is amazing.
Once again Dish has an exclusive so Verizon cannot add it at this time even if they want to.
It is not coming anytime soon so you might as well change now. All the spam and bullying going on is not going to get the channel suddenly added to any line-up. It may very well be added eventually but it won't be anytime soon.
@tns_2 wrote: @JANETE wrote: I'm giving you one month to add The Blaze or I am changing to Dish. I have been to his studio and it is amazing.Once again Dish has an exclusive so Verizon cannot add it at this time even if they want to.
All this sudden pressure to add the channel being mounted has got to be driven by Beck himself. It wasn't a gradual build up of add requests, it was like someone just turned on the add Blaze spam faucet one day (i.e. told his followers to start the spam campaign). It pretty much started when Beck tried to buy Currrent TV from Gore and was rejected. (per Fox news)
I am a Verizon Wireless & FiOS subscriber. My wireless plan is month-to-month and my FiOS 2-year contract ends this September.
If Verizon is not interested in offering the type of programming I want (i.e. The Blaze TV) I suppose Verizon is not interested in retaining my business either.
Verizon has many ultra-Left stations like MSNBC, so why not a conservative view?
The Blaze is on a number of small cable outlets. The exclusive contract with Dish only refers to satellite.
@tns wrote: The blaze is kinda nitch programming. AND ITS NOT AVAILABLE as a channel to verizon users because its exclusive to DISH. Probably for a year.
The Blaze is on some small cable stations. The exclusivity is only for satellite. The Blaze is "nitch" for your average American.
The Blaze is on "DIRECT TV" and could be on Fios if Verizon would so choose.
"It's called Fox."
The lefties have: ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, MSNBC, CNN and Current (a.k.a. Al Jazeera) TV.
We have FOX...
Please add The Blaze TV, you will still have at least a 7:2 advantage.
HBO/Showtime/Cinemax is awful. I have Showtime & Cinemax because they are included with the Ultimate HD package.
I should drop HBO but my wife still enjoys watching True Blood.
Wow...you think CNN is a "leftie"????? lol As for the networks, I can't comment because I rarely watch them (or Al Jazeera/Current either..As I said, I don't bother with baseless propaganda from either side). I can say that when I have seen network news, I sure don't hear any propaganda the likes of which Beck spews. Unless you consider a water-main breaking or an auto accident or a weather report "leftist propaganda."
By the way, Showtime (and The Movie Channel) is the only premium channel (aside from HDNet Movies) that consistently shows movies the way they were intended to be seen. (HBO/MAX alters and eliminates picture information...so seeing a movie there is a waste of time). That makes Showtime a rare and valued channel for film buffs...nowhere near as worthless as Blaze. And again, I don't care if Blaze is carried by Verizon...as long as only those who want it are willing to pay for it. After all, with all the other looney shows out there (REAL HOUSEWIVES, HONEY BOO-BOO, etc, etc., etc.), Beck's misinformed craziness is not lacking in company.
Oh wow! One channel (Fox News) out of all the the 285+ channels. What reasoning are liberals using that makes them think that is balanced. Oh right, they are not reasonable and they are too close minded to accept it. If they were it wouldn't bother them that the Blaze was added to the line up if it doesn't cost them anything extra.
Me, too. I was really disappointed in Roger Ales succoming to liberal pressure to remove Glenn Beck from Fox News. I guess his continous barage against George Soros (the Puppetmaster) got Media Matters into action with an all out Ground and Air Attack on Honest Reporting. As the saying goes, "You can't handle the truth!".
Glenn Beck is nothing more than an honest hard working News Commentary Host who still cares deeply about his country and his fellow brothers and sisters. If that makes you an Ultra-Conservative, COUT ME IN!!!
Aero - Cout me in? You guys are amazing.
The only news source we can learn the "truth" about what took place with Obama's response to the Benghazi attack is from FOX News and The Blaze.
I send more than $300 per month Verizon’s way... (FiOS & Wireless), all I am asking for is access to the truth.
If Verizon insists on broadcasting Al Jazeera TV then provide us with a counter weight called The Blaze TV.
This is still America, right?
My voice too!
There is no diversity without The Blaze. There is no other news outlet that reports with accuracy like the Blaze.
Count me as one of the supporters of FIOS adding The Blaze TV to their lineup. Cablevision addedid it and they're trying to get me to return to them. I like FIOS but I also would like to have the option to view the Blaze without npaying $10 a month.
Why is it we are paying good money, $175 per month in my case, to Verizon for programming that no one is watching?
TV Ratings: MSNBC Falls Below HLN in May, Rachel Maddow Hits Lows
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/tv-ratings-msnbc-falls-below-559923
if you can add French TV and Al Jazeira and have MS NBC -- there is certainly room for another conservative and newsworthy voice like The Blaze.
I'm amazed that Verizon FIOS seems to have no plans to carry TheBlaze but carries Al Jazeera. Verizon pays Al Jazeera to carry it on the FIOS lineup, which I'm not too crazy about, but I do believe that they should carry a balanced lineup of news. I am a supscriber to TheBlaze and would love to see it on FIOS, but I am getting tired of waiting for an anouncement from Verizon to carry it. I am strongly considering moving to DISH for this reason, which is cheaper, has more HD channels, larger DVR storage, and supports watching recorded and live on my iPhone and iPad from anywhere... The FIOS app must be in your home and can't watch DVR recordings.
This from the guy who has a flip flop govenor.
That is a lie. It's not exclusive. Check your sources.
@JANETE wrote: I'm giving FIOS a month to add the blaze then I am moving to DISH and the hopper!
You might as well switch as its exclusive to Dish. Well there are currently 4 independant cable providers I've never heard of that have it to, but Dish is the only major carrier.Have fun with Dish and their signal always going out. They sucked.
Optimum also has The Blaze. Everyone carries it but FIOS! Not happy, Might just go back to Optimum soon! Also FIOS isn't as cheap as they said they were!
Your response is not wholly accurate. You can check here for the latest.
http://www.gettheblaze.com/updates/
The Blaze has gathered an excellent staff and they are producing high quality content which would only be a benefit to all the subscribers. Seriously Fios put Al Jazeera in the line up...the bastion of hate is ok but the pillar of truth isn't good enough.
For those out here slamming Glenn Beck, you really don't know who the man is. This letter to Gov. Cuomo pretty much spells it out for those that might actually have an open mind.
http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/gov-cuomo-are-we-welcome-in-new-york/
We pay a lot ot Verizon every month and we deserve to get as much high quality entertainment as we can get.
The Blaze is moving out to several different carriers. The Dish Network offering is not Exclusive. Let's get it added to FiOS.
carry the blaze or we will remove our verizon services
I would like to also request The Blaze TV to be added to the FIOS lineup. We need another conservative voice to complement FOX News. On the left we have CNN, HLN, MSNBC, and others. Let's strike a balance.
Why doesn't someone from Verizon respond about our requests to provide the Blaze? I see where people are saying that other than Dish network only a few small cable systems offer it. Well I live on Long Island and Cable Vision, a rather LARGE cable system offers it. Aljazeera is offered and hardly anyone watches that channel. Give us a reason, we have been hearing nothing for quite a while now and we at least deserve a valid answer not opinions of people that don't want it. I'm sure there are many that don't want it but I don't want aljazeera, MSNBC or a lot of other channels but rather than starting messages about them I just don't watch them. I don't want other users reason for it not being provided I want answers from someone in authority as to why.
Come on Verizon, don't your paying customers deserve an answer?
This is mainly a peer to peer support forum.
Verizon doesn't respond here.
