Anyone know if Verizon plans to add CBC Newsworld to FiOS television? There are hundreds of thousands of Canadians in California alone, who would be potential viewers, not to mention people living in Western NY who are accustomed to Canadian televison. And it's just a good news channel anyway for American audiences.

In fact why are there NO Canadian channels in any of the International packages?

Verizon, please consider adding!

A lot of it has to do with whether the Canadian channels can be offered in the US. Contractually, CBC may not have the right to broadcast a lot of the material they air outside Canada. I would love to see this channel too, but I suspect that may not be possible.
