Fix The Spanish Package

The spanish package is almost all wrong where what the guide indicates should be there is not. Channels 463 alerta tv, 1506 dominical, 1507 supercanal, 1508 wapa, 1540 cnn espanol, 1549 canal sur, 1582 utilisima, 1620 infinito, 1664 ritmoson, 1703 centro america tv, 1704 tv chile, 1705 tv colombia are just a few of the channels that are wrong in the spanish package where you should try to update the schedules that are on those channels. 1509 tele el salvador, 1548 dominican view and even kuwait tv 1781 do not have lineups there for someone to tape off of. Tv guide, titan tv, zap 2 it are a few of the online guide providers that have the fios guide correct but you do not. Abc news now channel 108 is wrong all of the time. Mnet is on channel 229 from 5pm-3am but the guide indicates that is from 8pm-12am. Fios 1 continues to list the wrong sporting events at night starting at 7:30pm 5 days a week where it was a football game last night not a baskeball game as the guide indicated with different teams playing rather than what was listed. 1540 cnn espanol's lineup is almost all completely wrong. 1540's morning show is from 6am-10am not 6am-9am. The 10am show never matches and the 11 am show is "actualidad" not encuentro. Canal sur 1549 is another channel where the morning shows are wrong. The reason i mention 1549 is because it is a best of south american news channel where the 5:30am-9:30am show is listed from 5:30am-9:00am where you miss the last half hour and for the person who wants to tape the next show that is on there they will end up taping the last half hour of the show from the previous show. The 5:30am show is from peru and what should be listed at 9:30am is from venezuela so you miss the last half hour of the peru show if you were to tape it and if you tape the venezuela show you get the last half hour of the peru show first. Canal sur has their schedule on their website where if you go there click on the word "horarios" which means schedules to get the correct one. On some rare occasions some of these channels do match but not often. Now i know that you always seek to correct movie chanels that are wrong but i do not see that sense of immediacy with the spanish package where what someone is paying for is almost the same amount of what a movie package costs. The dvrs are difficult to set up when there is a lot of data on there that is wrong so i implore you to try to correct these guide data issues before a lot of people decide that it is no longer worth the hassle and decide to drop you as their provider. Your commericals in spanish on univision, telemundo and other channels in spanish are misleading because the package that you have to offer is so far off that it is disingenous to advertise that it is great when it is not. There are also some channels that you can add that could not only add more customers but it would help with some of the issues at hand. Canal sur peru is an all peru channel that all providers have but you do not that can be had so that the issues with canal sur can be avoided as people can tape all peru news whenever they want. Peru magico is another and i would strongly suggest that you add one or both of them before people look elewhere for their television because enough is enough with the guide data issues be wrong.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank the verizon employee who got a lot of the channels that i mentioned in my post on here about the spanish package corrected as many of them are now running the correct updated schedules and you got those results in less than 48 hours. 1540 cnn espanol is 99.9% perfect except for the 11am show which is 1 hour long but the guide says that it is from 11:15am-12pm. 1549 canal sur still has the wrong morning lineup 5 days a week and telemundo's 4pm show says that it is a cop show when it is a judge deciding court cases show. Channel 474 is wrong at 9pm monday through friday and a show that is on 474 called planeta feroz has the wrong description where it is described as a weather show when it is a animals in the wildlife show. Another thing that is wrong is nbc's live political debate that is going to be on live this sunday from 9am-10:30am is listed on there from 10:30am-12pm. A movie called thirst that is on showtime is an american movie but it is listed as a korean vampire movie. Movie trailers for movies like the departed have no audio. Channel 108 abc news now is wrong most all of the time. Channel 229 becomes a korean channel at 5pm-3am and 363 encore espanol along with 1724 boomerang espanol should have an all spanish audio but it is all in english. 461 azteca america and 480 latv both claim to have hd versions of those channels but when you press the c button to go to the hd version you get redirected to telemundo hd 512. 1705 tv colombia is still wrong and so is 1582 utilisima. Also 1509, 1548, and 1781 have no schedules at all. A lot more progress was made within the last 48 hours than has been made in the last few years with the spanish package that has been wrong for a long time where you got 1506, 1507, 1508, 1620, 1664, 1704, and almost all of cnn espanol corrected. Now all that remains are a few more channels so if you could get the rest of the things that i am mentioning on here corrected i and a lot of other people would appreciate it very much. Ideally this is how it should work where when verizon says that things should get corrected within 48 hours it does. In having a back and forth in the way where things get passed on to the group who can make these changes it benefits everyone involved from the channels to verizon to the current customers to future customers.

Thanks again to the verizon employee who has been able to correct a lot of what is wrong with the spanish package. It has been wrong for years but you managed to get things corrected in just a matter of days which was a toal shock for me and a lot of other people who are so used to it always being wrong. Many people had to go with direct tv for their spanish channels because of how wrong the schedules were on the fios guide when it came to the spanish package. 1549 canal sur is now perfect and so is 1582 utilisima along with telemundo's 4pm show caso cerrado which had the wrong description. 474 vme still has a show that has the wrong description on it called planeta ferroz that is on wednesdays, fridays, and saturdays where it says that it is a show about people who have survived natural disasters like earthquakes when the show is about animals in the wildlife like lions or tigers. A movie called thirst which continues to have the wrong despction will be wrong again on showtime women 375 next saturday the 14th at 9:30am where it says that it is a korean vampire movie when it is an american movie where people get stranded somwhere. 463 alerta tv is still wrong. I spoke too soon when i said that 1704 tv chile was correct as it is still wrong where right now it claims that there should be an animal show called "animal nocturno" when in fact it is a show about people who travel around the world called "voy y vuelo." Another thing that is weird is that 466 mega tv has its logo back but there is nothing to watch on that channel as it continues to have that temporarily discontinued message. The fact that the logo is there means that mega tv should be up and running with content to watch but it does not have anything there where the screen is completely dark. 1540 cnn espanol's 11am show as i said before is from 11am-12pm but the guide has it as 11:15am-12pm. Another show called escenario on 1540 which is on thursdays at 1pm is not there and another show is listed wrongly in its place. Abc news now is still wrong and i have spoken to the woman who is reponsible for putting together the schedule for that channel where she says that the schedule that you have on channel 108 is an old one. One of the shows that is on abc news now channel 108 is called "what's the buzz" which is on at least 4 times a day where it is listed as a texas travel show every single episode when in fact the show is about celebrities in the headlines so it has the wrong description too. Channel 229 becomes a korean channel called MNET from 5pm-3am 7 days a week so if you have to tape it to verify this that is fine so long as it gets corrected. There is a schedule available online for MNET with the names of movies that should he listed there along with music shows too. As you can tell from what you have seen with your own eyes what i have been saying on here is correct about what is wrong with the guide so hopefully you can keep up the good work and get these things corrected not only for me but for everyone who has verizon fios for their tv nationwide.

I wanted to update some of the info that was on here to be clear about things that are wrong with the guide not only the spanish package but also other channels that have inaccurate data on the guide. Cnn channel 100 sd and 600 hd is usually wrong on the weekends where the morning shows that you have running on saturday from 6:00am-7:30am plus 8:00am-9:30am are wrong where the hosts that are listed on there moved on to other networks years ago and the "your bottom line" money show that is on at 9:30am has a host that has had her own show on fox business for years now. On sunday on cnn the cnn newsroom shows which are live shows about what is going on in the news usually do not match where on sundays for example it is listed as being from 7pm-7:30pm when in fact it is a 1 hour show that is from 7pm-8pm. At 8pm there is always a show called cnn presents where that rarely matches where the guide has a documentary listed that is supposed to be a 1 hour show about that hacker group called "anonymous" but what is playing instead is the abc news political debate from saturday night that is on cnn where there is no piers morgan tonight show even though the guide lists it as being there. Cnn headline news channel 101 continues to list a show called showbiz tonight on sundays at 11pm which repeats at 4am when in fact what is really there is a crime show hosted by dominic dunne. On thursday mornings on channel 101 what is listed on the guide is the weekend show from 7am-12pm when it should be another show from 6am-12pm. Fios 1 channel 1 sd and 501 hd usually has programs listed like first news flash on saturday mornings at 7:30am where it really is paid programming and many of the sporting events on the weekends on fios 1 do not match what the guide says should be there. Channel 108 abc news now continues to be wrong and 229 is an american channel from 6am-5pm then it becomes a korean channel from 5pm-3am where from 3am-6am it is paid programming. On channel 273 the 7pm and 10pm shows are wrong. The show on 274 on sundays at 9pm is wrong. 474 has the wrong description for planeta feroz on wednesdays, fridays, and saturdays. Channels 1509, 1548 and 1781 have no schedules at all even though online it is listed on other websites who have the fios guide. 1620 is still wrong where it has a travel show listed when it is a crime show right now about pablo escobar also 1704 and 1705 continue to be wrong. Cnn espanol 1540's 11am show is from 11am-12pm but the guide has it as a 11:15am-12pm show plus on thursdays there is a celebrity show called escenario on at 1pm but the guide has another show listed there instead. As you may already know what i have said on here before was pretty accurate about what was wrong with the guide so please continue to work on trying to correct what is wrong with these channels where the goal is to have an accurate updated guide to tape programs off of.

If that verizon employee is still out there who got a lot of what was wrong with the spanish package fixed then i wanted you to know that there is a little more to do so that the entire package can be correct. 1703 centro america tv is an issue in the mornings. 1704 tv chile and 1705 tv colombia are still wrong. 273 mtv tres and 1660 tres are both the same channel that has starting on monday from 4pm-1am for the next two weeks to be announced on there instead of programs being listed. 274 galavision on the weekends often does not match. 1540 cnn espanol does not match at 11am weekdays and 363 encore espanol has an all english audio instead of a spanish one plus 474 vme has a show called planeta ferroz that has the wrong description while telemundo's 4pm show has the wrong description. Channel 108 does not match and cnn channel 100 on the weekends not matching along with cnn headline news channel 101 not matching on thursdays or on the weekends plus 229 does not match what is playing on there from 5pm-8pm and 12-3am 7 days a week when it becomes a channel called mnet.
