I don't know what this means. We are trying to watch a free program on VOD and it is saying we don't have enough credits. Then it tells us to call an 866# and enter a quick code but the call disconnects when we call.
Very frustrating!

Same here. Was watching Dexter VOD (we have subscribed to all those channels since 2008) it said the same thing. Resetting the box didn't work. Customer service automated system isn't working right. Support number is busy. Live chat is unavailable. Did Verizon get hacked or something?
Can someone please help? When I'm paying the price of a 2011 Toyota Corolla lease for a month of fios service, I'd like some answers!
Me Too! Some customer service!
SAME thing is happening to me and keep getting disconnected. Also, live chat is down even though it's supposed to be available until 10 PM EST! Verizon help me!!!!
I was watching free programming On Demand today, when I went to my next show, only to get the message:
"Unable to process your request at this time. Your Set-Top Boc does not have enough credits to purchase this asset. Please call Verizon at...quick code 8632 [VOD_131]"
This is strange, as we seem to be up to payment on bills, and I was capable of watching shows just a few minutes before this. We still have all other services. We tried to call in, but the customer support line is closed. Does anyone have any quick advice or recommendations?
has anyone gotten through the 866 number... I was given 8632 to enter , and after my phone nummber is enterred I get disconnected. I am an auto pay customer and haave never heard of Credits
Hello everyone
We have escalated this to Verizon for investigation. Please be patient.
Is there a number we can be directed to, to discuss this issue that will not disconnect? This is the only avenue I have to communicate, and now I am basically getting hung up on here.
Post flooding detected (community got posts of a unique message more than 1 times within 3,600 seconds.
Same here! I was hoping that I was alone here and that someone had an idea of how to fix things. There goes my relaxing night in with a movie and a bottle of wine!
I'm getting the same exact error (6/24/2011 - 9:45PM). I've called into customer support and I keep getting disconnected no matter how I get into the system, whether it's through the quick code line or through 1-800-VERIZON.
What is going on?
There appears to be an outage related to the storm passing thru. I did a check online regarding it and it stated there was an outage in my area and would be fixed around 06/15 - 1700 hrs.
I too am getting this error. When will this be fixed? This is very disappointing.
No Storms in Fort Worth Texas, and our FIOS is working for everything else... Credits and VOD are the only culprits. I hope this is not some new pricing model Verizon plans to roll out. And I would hope there would be another line of communication to get answers than refreshing a message board.
Also getting this message. Is this a localized thing? I mean, not to pry, but where is everybody else who getting this message? (All these posts are from tonight, it seems?) I'm in the Greater Boston area. Is this just a regional thing, or is it all over?
Having the same problem - not enough credits, quick code 8632 - credit check failure. Has never happened before. Anyone had it resolved?
Happening in the DC metro area as well. This is infuriating -- especially when I'm paying through the nose for service. Thanks Verizon.
I'm having the same problems, I'm in Maryland and we are not having a storm here. What in the world is going on, it seems like it's out throughout the entire country.
Don't attempt to call customer service. I have a feeling the entire country is on the line, waiting. You'll never get anyone.
I am in Falls Church Virginia and experiencing the same crap. I HATE VERIZON!
Such a widespread event, you would hope there would be some sort of communication. We have message boxes on the set top box for some reason... or is that only to tell me of pay per view events. If I can not call and get through, use the in home agent, or live chat, what else am I supposed to do to get an answer? I agree, for the price of the service, this 'service' is less than satisfactory. Issues occur, understood, but need to address them.
Customer service says "server down in my area". On hold for fiber support group - any news on how long to fix?
RI is "Off Demand" as well. Come on Verizon, what is the deal? A little help please.
I'm in Woodbridge, VA and experiencing the same thing (2200 hrs local time). This is frustrating, Wife and I just sat down for our weekly movie night (we have young children, so don't get to do this often). Paying a crap load of money for this service, never had this problem before. Disappointed.
Why am I getting the message, "Unable to process your request at this time. Your Set-Top Box does not have enough credits to purchse this asset. Please call Verizon at 866-962-1946 and enter quick code 8632 [VOD_131] Technical Info: Credit check failure" when I try to watch a VOD. <p>I have the best FiOS package ($139.99) which includes all the basic channels as well as several premium channels. My bill is on auto-pay and is up to date. There is no reason they should be checking my credit, but even if they did, it's perfect.<p>Every time I try to call the number given it goes through all the confirmation questions (phone #, TV, etc.) and then hangs up on me. It's done this 3 times. So I called another number (888-553-1555) I have for FiOs service and that hung up on me after going through the same process as the other one as well as telling me there would be a long wait time due to all the calls. So I'm thinking I'm not the only one.<p>VOD was working fine this afternoon. Now this evening it's out, and probably for the whole weekend seeing that no one works at Verizon over the weekend. Any ideas? Thank you.
Interesting, I just googled Verizon VOD Credit... Seems like this has happened before, in 08 and '10. I have had verizon that whole time but never has this occured to me. My first thought is if this has happened before, I would expect there to be protocols in place to address the issue or at the least inform the customers.
Jersey here. Friend in Western PA has the same issue...
Happening in NY as well still can't watch VOD
Coincidentally, today marks the EXACT day completing my 2 year contract. The lack of communication on this is suspicious. At least Comcast communicated their issue promptly. Come on Verizon...
I'm having the same problem. This afternoon VOD was working fine, now it's not and I'm getting the same message you all are. I posted a VOD message starting a new topic as I didn't see this before. Could it be a system-wide problem? And when will it be fixed? I don't think anyone works at Verizon over the weekend so if it lasts all weekend I'm going to want some credit, myself!
