Cannot send e-mails out.

I am using Outlook 2013 for my e-mails. At present i cannot send emails out,nor can i reply to e-mails. My e-mails go to outbox at this time.. Can anyone assist in restoring my emails to work with outlook. I cant seem to get my point across to aol and verizon says that i should contact aol. We are seniors and not at all tech savvy. Can anyone suggest a solution.

Please try this below,my Outlook 2013 working OK I am receiving all my AOL VZ emails

GO TO:

Outlook 2013 Email Account Settings

Email: *********@verizon.net Type: POP/SMTP (send from this acct by default)

Click Repair tab

Your Name

Email address

Password: The one your internet service provider has given you

Repair Acct:

Congratulations!

Configuring

Establishing netwrk connections

Searching for ******@verizon.net settings

Log on to server and send a test message

Your POP3 e-mail acct is successfully configured

Selected acct delivers new messages to the following location

****@verizon.net\Inbox

In data file C:\Users\***\Documents\Outlook Files\*****@verizon.net.pst
