The many complaints about Verizon and DSL hit home with me as I am under a lifetime written contract for DSL service and for the past two years it has been mostly unavailable. It now will support only my tablet, no longer my desktop. Supposedly after much hassle and my time, the system tests "OK," unofficially per a repairman, their equipment is no longer being maintained as they are now peddling FIOS.
Anyway, I wanted to mention the technical incompetence demonstrated on this very messageboard. When I vote up a comment, I am thrown off the thread entirely.
If nothing else, I give Verizon credit for consistency of substandard service.
