The Guide Is A Joke

The information that is on the guide is so wrong that it has to be some sort of a joke that is being played on customers where there is so much data that is there that is wrong that trying to watch something or tape something off of it is so difficult that it gets to the point where a lot of people will not even turn on their tvs because of all of the things that are inaccurate. Channel 319 blackbelt tv has had a to be announced message since last week and it still has that message for the next two weeks. Another thing that is wrong with blackbelt tv channel 319 is that there is a message on there that indicates that if you want to watch that channel in hd to press c on the remote but when you do you are redirected to the history channel in hd which makes no sense at all. One channel is a fight channel that has fight movies along with mixed martial arts fights and the other is the history channel. The MSG channels in sd and hd do not match what the guide claims should be there where there is a MSG logo that is on channel 79 when in fact that channel is MSG 2 not MSG where the logo that should be on channel 79 is on channel 579 which is MSG 2 HD not MSG 2 as the guide indicates. Channel 81 is MSG PLUS 2 not MSG PLUS while the logo that is on channel 581 lists it as MSG HD when in fact it is MSG PLUS. Cnn on the weekends is wrong and cnn espanol is an issue too where the 11am show is not there. 1583 has a lot of paid programming on it not the programs that the guide claims should be there and channels 1509,1548, 1781 have no schedules at all when every other provider does have a schedule for those channels.

Thanks to whoever at verizon just got the schedule up and running for blackbelt tv but i want to point out that right now there is a movie playing on that channel but the guide has listed on there world championship kickboxing dunbar vs adams. The fight is listed as being from 12pm-1pm but the movie that is on there is two hours long which means that the rest of the channel may not match. That press c to watch it in hd is finally gone where that has been corrected along with the press c to watch in hd for channel 466 mega tv. From what i can tell that problem where a channel claims to have a hd version of it but it does not is now resolved. That all spanish audio though for encore espanol is still wrong and the supposed spanish version of boomerang espanol channel 1724 is not there. Both 363 and 1724 should all be in spanish all of the time plus 258, 1724, 1725 all have the same content, the same standard definition where it appears that either 1724 or 1725 should not be there because it is a waste of a guide space. Encore espanol is defined by the encore channel as encore's all spanish all the time channel where the names of movies, descripitons of them and audio should be in spanish all of the time just like 1724 boomerang espanol.

The movie "thirst" that has been playing all month long on showtime is not a korean vampire movie as the guide indicates but instead it is an american movie about people who get stranded where they are struggling to survive as they are dying of hunger and thirst. It will be on march 10, 2012 at 5:15am on channel 367sd 867 hd then repeat at 8:15am where it will also be on again on march 11, 2012 at 6:30pm and 9:30pm, march 13, 2012 at 10pm & march 14, 2012 1am, march 16 at 2pm then again at 5 pm. There is also a matter of abc news now which has a show called what's the buzz that is on several times a day where the next time that it will be on will be at 1:15pm where the description is one of it being a houston texas travel show every single episode when in fact it is a celebrities in the news show. I have spoken to abc news now where i was able to confirm with their programming department that the description that you have for that show is something that they do not know where it is coming from but i found out that your guide is pulling that data from a local affiliate in houston texas when abc news now channel 108 is a national channel where they have no connection at all to that local affiliate show whose data is on the guide for the abc news now what's the buzz show. It is a very simple correction that someone can very easily get done just like the movie thirst being correctly altered so that it matches what should be there. 1509 and 1548 still have no schedules on there where a lot of people who have those channels as part of their spanish package are missing out on their programming. I know for a fact that there is a schedule because tv guide and zap 2 it have the schedules for those channels on their websites. If you go to those websites just put in a zip code where there is fios tv and you will be able to verify what is is that i am saying along with the thirst movie and what's the buzz descriptions. Cnn on the weekends is still an issue plus their morning lineup on tuesdays does not match. Their 5am-7am show is showing up as 5am-6am while their 7am-9am is showing up as 6am-9am. Cnn espanol channel 1540 has a 11am show that is not there five days a week while the weekends on cnn espanol is an issue too. 1583 passiones a soap opera channel does not have shows to watch at 7am, 8am, 10am and countless other times throughout the week including on the weekends where what is on there instead is all paid programming. These are real issues that exist with your guide so please make the necessary modifications to correctly have the most up to date schedules running on your guide so that people can enjoy what fios tv has to offer without people feeling as if no one cares about how wrong all of the data on the guide is.

I just wanted to follow up my previous post with an update about more data that is wrong that people are not aware of. Channel 474 vme is wrong weekdays where the 9pm and 10pm shows are usually wrong. Tonight for example what was listed at 9pm really was on at 10 where the 10pm show did not appear at all. On sunday at 4pm wide angle on channel 474 is listed as the show but what is really there is a show called mek 8. The 3pm show that is listed on the guide ons sunday is really on at 2pm where the program that should be there at 3pm is called intelligencia which is not listed at all on the guide on sunday at 3pm because you have a wrong schedule running for that channel. The 2pm show that is listed on the guide on sunday will not appear at all. 1508 a channel from puerto rico called wapa is also having its issues with what is listed versus what is actually playing while 1704 tv chile along with teleamazonas channel 1706 an ecuadorian channel does not match either. Verizon fixed 1549 canal sur but that was a temporary solution as i see that all of those corrections that were made are now going to revert back to being issues again where 1549 will have a schedule on there that will be 99% wrong. Blackbelt tv channel 319 has a to be announced message starting monday for the next two weeks plus there are still two channels that are on there at 394 and 894 that are a waste of guide space.
