Backup Assistant

Everytime I go to backup assistant on verizon's page, it takes more than 10 minutes to load, and it never comes through. I usually access it through my phone but now I am trying to do it for the first time on the computer and am not having much success.....

What browser are you using? Does it have any ad-blocking addons? Try it with Internet Explorer with no add-ons enabled and see if that helps.

There is/was a known issue earlier, I have no idea if it has been corrected.

i too am having problems backing up about 300+ contacts. Verizon tech told me there was still an issue with server/network on backup assistant and not known when would be corrected.

There is a ticket out for the issue that you are experiencing with backup assistance at which techs are aware and working to resolve the issue.

Excuse me, but:

I just got a call from my GF. She only recently upgraded and extended her Verizon plan and for her $ got a new phone (don't know M/M). Soon as she got it, she used the backup assistant to upload from her old phone - and then download to new. All was fine until today.

She was in a panic. EVERYTHING WAS GONE!! She was on the phone for OVER AN HOUR with TS!!

And we're headed out of town for four days. And all of her contacts are GONE.

So I decided to look up and see if I could find out any info regarding this issue.

Having done TS and SA for several years, I have nothing but the highest respect for y'all - and my sympathies gto out to you at this time of - crisis?

But tell me, doesn't it make sense to you that if you are having issues with a product, DON'T BRING IT ONLINE, or don't allow users to log into it?

Now, this has been going on for a while. Don't you think it might be a good thing to advise/contact users of issues - just might free up some of your techs and phones - but I forget - that's what you are and do.
