Verizon.net email

I am a Verizon.net wireless user – I’m an older person and haven’t gotten into texting so my whole life is contained in my email account. It contains all my contacts, and all my important saved emails.

Last year I heard Verizon was leaving the e-mail business. When I called Verizon to inquire why I hadn’t received any notice they said ‘….not to worry because the transition to AOL was being done in waves and I would be notified when it would be my turn.

I have heard nothing, but have not been able to access my email account since May 2018. I have called different Verizon customer service units many times.

Is there anyone out there who can help me?

They did not actually get out of the email business but purchased both AOL & Yahoo under a name called Oath. Now what they were doing is having customers set up their verizon.net email to the AOL or Yahoo brand.

The above links should assist you. I always download and update my contacts via a CSV file so as not lose them. It’s good advice to be proactive and not reactive.
