Can't send webmail from Samsung tablet

Using online webmail on Verizon.com. Load page and receive mail fine. When I go to send mail I hit the red send button and it gets lighter in color but nothing happens. This occurs in Firefox and Chrome. Private window or not. Anyone with any ideas? Hotmail works fine in both browsers. Don't want to download client on tablet. Prefer using mail online.

Using latest Chrome Broser Version 55.0.2883.87 m

Used my Dell PC

It works fine from my desktop. Just will not work from my tablet.

Yes. Tab A 8" 16gb. Have not used Verizon webmail on tablet before as I had client on laptop. It is exactly as described in original post. Tablet is fully up to date. Send button gets lighter in color but nothing happens.
