Verizon is Shameless for Removing Shameless from Showtime on Demand

I pay for Showtime which includes Showtime on Demand.

Showtime includes all seasons of Shameless on Demand until 8/5/14.

Last week, without warning, Verizon removed Shameless from Showtime on Demand, which is already paid for with a Showtime subscription, and placed it in Verizon FIOS Pay Per View, so that they could gouge viewers to pay an addtiional fee to view episodes.

Shame on you Verizon.

Way to go to lose customers.

Its removal would be done by Showtime. There are times when some things are available free on one of the on-demand premiums and also available as pay per view.

According to Showtime, it is available free on Demand with Showtime on Demand through 8/5/14.

This is currently shown on Showtime's own website listing of Showtime on Demand, and in fact, this is what was displayed on my FIOS Showtime on Demand Menu until one day last week, when Shameless disappeared from Showtime on Demand and showed up on FIOS Flexview for a fee.

Showtime indicates on their website that it is up to my provider, which in my case is Verizon FIOS, to determine what I have available to me in my Showtime On Demand.

Since it was available in my Showtime On demand until one day last week, and was shown as being available until 8/5/14, which is the same as what is now shown on Showtime's own website for On Demand viewing, it is clear that this was a conscious move by Verizon to remove it from my Showtime on Demand lineup so that they could charge me a Flexview fee to watch what should be included in my Showtime On Demand lineup for no additional charges above what I am already paying for my Showtime subscription.

I continue to be unhappy with this unilateral move by Verizon to remove Shameless from Showtime on Demand, which was already included in my paid for Showtime subscription, and place it in Flexview for an addtional pay per view fee instead.

If you are not able or unwilling to move Shameless back into Showtime on Demand, I would accept an alternative solution of offering me a free subscription for unlimited HD viewing of all seasons/all episodes of Shameless.

Just checked, and all the smameless episodes appear to show up under Showtime VOD (free to supscribers) for me. Some of the episodes also are in Verizon's Flexview.

Look in VOD, FREE AND PREMIUM, Premium, SHowtime, Showtime, Showtime series.

Every episode of Shameless is still available for free through Showtime On Demand on my FiOS system.
