Does anybody know if there is anything in the works for Verizon to get a version of the HD2/Evo? Not that I'm terribly dissatisfied with current offerings, but to get that kind of hardware would be awesome!
I think that is a sprint / tmobile exlusive.
But I do not believe that anyone would know, other than engadget or phandroid.
And I havent seen any news other then a possible release of the Samsung Galaxy S.
Verizon likes to pick one phone from each category, one mid low and high version of a smart phone etc. For the next couple months theirs is the incredible droid and devour, possibly the eris if it doesnt get EOL.
I wouldnt worry about it much, the next flagship phones will probably be 4g anyways, which I read someone that verizon hopes to have operation by 2011 sometime.
Even though the evo is 4g, I doubt they will get it, and will rather find something else that is faster around the time of their launch of 4g to pull customers to it.
