I cannot connect my ESCAM wireless cameras to my router

I purchased 2 ESCAM wireless cameras to use for home monitoring. The instructions say to download the XMEYE app to configure them. I cannot get them to connect. Can anyone help me?

Is the failure occurring when trying to connect the cameras up to your router, or when trying to connect to the cameras for configuration before even putting them onto your network?
