Cannot text with non-iPhone users

Ever since I got my new iphone 14 Plus in December, I cannot group text if someone in the group is a non-iphone user. I can text directly with them, but they can't send me photos.

I've checked all my settings per Apple and everything is how it should be. This is most likely a carrier issue. May someone reach out to me on this matter?

I am having the same issue- unable to text in group text to non iPhone users . Also not able to send a photo to a non apple phone- red circle with ! appears.

I have the same issue. I've contacted Verizon about 3 times with no working solution so far.

I've had the same issue with my iPhone 11 since sometime last year. I can't text to a group if there is a non-iphone user in it. Lately, I can't even send a regular text to certain non-iPhone users. I have a friend I'm able to text, but, now the gifs won't go through to him.

i have an iphone 14 pro, and cannot receive text photos from androids when connected by wifi calling.

i have: --done a complete reset & restored from backup --tried the block/unblock services trick many times -- reset network settings --hard reset. imessage, mms, send as sms, rcs are all on, have been turned off and on.

any suggestions welcome!

Hi anna1424. What a challenge you are having. You have completed many of the recommended steps for troubleshooting and we would like to look close at what could be going on with unable to receive text photos from Androids. What happens when not connected o Wi-Fi and just cellular connection?

when connected to cellular i get text photos more consistently. at home there is no cell signal and we connect solely through wifi calling.

We don't want you to miss out on your picture messages from Android devices and we'd love to help. Are you able to get those picture messages when you're connected to our network normally? Do you have any problems with Apple messages? Are regular texts working properly?
