$10 charge to talk to a person

I was charged $10 to talk to a representative today about something that I was unable to find or do on line.

Your charges and profits are already pretty high and I find it unconscionable , especially for older people, to have to pay to talk to a representative is absolutely outrageous.

To pay your bill, you can use one of Verizon’s numerous free self-serve options, including the My Verizon app, My Verizon website, any Bill Pay Kiosk at a Verizon retail store, or the Verizon Automated Phone System by dialing #PMT on any mobile phone. However, if you decide to pay your bill over the phone through Customer Service, via credit card, debit card, gift card or checking account, you will be charged an Agent Assistance Fee of $10.

Over 55 get a discount from T-mobil and a nice package includes the Internet so no more Verizon or Comcast!

I just changed to T-Mobil that have a over 55 discount with a nice package including Internet that is costing me nearly half of what I was paying Verizon and Comcast!

We do not want you to pay n agent assist fee when making payment. That is the last we want. You can completely avoid this by using the self-serve options. My Verizon App, My Verizon website, One time payment (https://www.verizon.com/digital/nsa/nos/ui/payment/otp/login#/), or IVR Self-serve (calling to use voice assistant).
