How do prepaid hotspots work?

Hey all, I travel the country for conventions and some of the buildings have less than awesome connections. I was wondering, how does hotspot prepaid work? Can I activate it for a month I might be at a show with poor coverage, cancel service when in a month I dont need it, and reactivate again at another spotty show?

Verizon isnt too clear on this, seeing as it wants to use recurring billing.

Hello, Customer. We understand that we can post the answers on here. This is just in case you need or have any more questions or concerns. The hotspot on the phone is used like a Wi-Fi. Which most plans now carry. Depending on the plan depends on the GB you have for the hotspot. To activate the hot spot you will just need to drag down on the top of your bar and you will see hotspot.
