Very slow internet on new 1GB system

We just got 1GB system and it is running very slow. Verizon speed test shows proper upload and download speeds but Google speed test shows very slow upload speed of less than one Mbps. Another user suggested to disable IPv4 in Ethernet controller settings but I do not know how to do this.

There is a procedure listed earlier on this site that discusses a workaround that can help to get upload speeds closer to expected levels. Here is a link to Intel's website page that discusses the issue as well as the procedure.

Is the trouble being experienced by all devices connected to the Internet? Is the problem experienced with Wi-Fi, Ethernet or both types of connections?

I have one desktop connected via ethernet. My only other connections are alexa and TVs. The problem appears on the desktop only. I think there is something wrong with one of the settings on win 11, but I do not know what.

Is the desktop computer's NIC made by Intel?

HP Compaq 6200 small form factor - I am assuming you are right but I do not know.
