How do you Add/update a name instead of a cell # in the (text) message log ?
Hey there, we definitely want to make sure that you're able to manage your account and preferences. Could you please tell us a bit more about where you'd like to accomplish this? Were you referring to your My Verizon account message log history, or the message log within your phone's messaging app?

To add a name to a number on your call/message logs, click on the persons number on the list, then a screen will pop up to change the name. ~Peter

Only the feature has been wonky over the years and is currently not working correctly, as noted in several threads on the forum such as:

The nickname feature is working correctly for me now.
