I am considering buying an LTE galaxy 4 or 5 smart watch. Does it require a full price new line or is there a reduced price since it would paired with my phone hat has an existing Verizon line?

Let's backtrack a little to avoid getting lost in the story. Are you looking to upgrade/replace an existing number or are you looking add a new line with the smartwatch (keep in mind smartwatches are connected devices that require their own line even if they Number Share, FAQs: https://www.verizon.com/support/numbershare-faqs/)? If you do not mind us asking, how do you plan to use the watch? What is your budget?

I currently have a Samsung S4 smartwatch that is bluetooth/wifi, I am considering upgrading to an LTE version. I believe I need a new line to support the LTE function of the watch. My question is do i have to pay for a full price line, or is there a reduced price for the smartwatch that is associated with a full function phone. I currently have a 2-phone service (my wife and my phones) and that is over $100 a month. I don't mind adding a line if it was less but don't see a need for two pull price lines when I would have the phone and watch on the same number, and they would be co-located. I would pay full price if I needed two phones with different numbers. I just don't need to add an extra phone.
Excellent question. The line for a smartwatch is not priced the same as a regular phone line and depends on the plan you have. We can go over price options. I'll send you a private note. ~Peter

Thanks Peter, i would like to know what the price is for adding the smartwatch. My plan has 2 lines and is the 55+ Loyalty at $80/mo.
