G1100 with no WAN ethernet connection

I have Fios internet and set top TV (DVR) boxes. I have a coax from the ONT to my G1100 Fios router but there is no WAN ethernet connected. we subscribe to the 25/25 internet plan. Will having a WAN cable connected between the ONT and router increase my overall internet speed?

MoCA WAN is good until 100/100, though the actual hardware inside is capable of 500/500.

Sounds like your last mile delivery to your house is still on the old VDSL or BPON? Do you mind take a photo of your ONT?
