I recently moved and am now using the 5G home internet through Verizon. I have the ARC-XCI55AX model and it initially seemed to be working great. When I attempted to download something though, I noticed that my speed was quite slow on my PC. I'm getting ~ 60 Mb/s on wifi (not amazing but good enough), but only ~4-6 Mb/s down on my ethernet. This is the same ethernet port on my PC I was using before my move and getting >100 Mb/s down, so I don't think it is likely a port issue unless it was damaged during the move. I have tried 3 different ethernet cords as well as both ports on the modem so I don't think it is a hardware issue. I also tried disabling IPv6 TCP Checksum Overload that I saw in other posts online.
I am unsure what else to try or what else could possibly cause this. Any suggestions as to what to try or what else to collect for diagnostics would be greatly appreciated!
ESamLong, thanks for sharing those details. Based on what you did share, it sounds like the 5G Home is working via Wi-Fi with the PC. To get another detail, did you acquire the 5G Home after the move to your new residence, or did it move with you?

I came back from vacation to find my (separate) router not functioning from my cats knocking it off a stand. In any event, during my troubleshooting of that, I’ve discovered the very same thing: my Ethernet connections on the Verizon home unit are producing only download speeds of 5-9 Mbs while the wifi can do upwards of 190. Interestingly, the upload is unaffected at 15-18 Mbs (mostly). I agree this feels like a change as my entire network is run from the Ethernet port so I can use a wireless mesh to reach the corners of my house. Wondering if there was a recent update, but strangely, no date is offered on the firmware screen. My version is 222655.
