Is it possible to connect a connected WIFI extende 6200Q to another WiFi Extender 6200Q via an ethernet cable?
Where are your coax all terminated? In the basement?
If so, just add another splitter and daisy chain it if you are running out of the ports.
If you need to pull a new wire regardless, I recommend CAT 6a cable for future proof.
Yes. However, I don't know your rest of the network.
I have a router and 1 extender on my first floor. I'm looking to put another wifi extender in my basement as my internet in the basement is faint. Unfortunately, my 8 way cook splitter is now filled up. I used the last coax cable for the first floor wifi extender. So my Phan was to run an ethernet cable from my first floor wifi extender into the basement and connect with the other end of the ethernet cable. Is that possible and will that new extender give me better coverage in my basement?
Thank you
Thank you. All my equipment is in the Garage and no coax is in the Basement. I will use a splitter in the garage and then run coax to the Basement and attach the coax to the wifi Extender by coax cable. Is that the correct way?
Thank you (I'm a novice?)
