iphone8 blacklisted randomly after 4 years of owning it

As the title says my iPhone8 got randomly blacklisted by Verizon on December 14, 2022. I got this iPhone as a replacement from the Apple store. I have the receipt that shows the IMEI. I would like for Verizon to remove my iPhone from the blacklist as the phone is not lost or stolen. I only found out it was blacklisted when I went out of the country and it would not pick up service and a store rep told me it was blacklisted.

Based on your earlier message, you got the replacement iPhone directly from Apple. Since they issued the replacement, they'd need to address the IMEI being locked. If the device came from VZ, which it did not in this case, we could look at it further, but unfortunately I'd not be able to look at a device's details which did not originate with us. The best way to explore this situation would be to contact Apple Support.

I did not. I am a T-Mobile customer. I did not reach out to apple as Verizon is the one that blacklisted my iphone, why should i have to reach out to apple?
