Iphone 12 Pro Max - loses connection

I have an IPHONE 12 Pro Max. I'm having problems sending texts, FACETIME, etc... If I'm on my wifi - I have to leave wifi and then only have 2 bars. My daughter lives right around the corner 1mile and when she facetimes me I get an exclamation mark and we lose connection all the time. This has been so frusturating. Tried to send a text with a pic and it freezes. I have to turn off wifi. The service around here isn't the best either. Why do I pay so much not to have good service.

Verizon service is terrible now. Message+ app was updated and I can't send text messages while on WiFi. If I turn off wifi to get texts to send, cellular service is terrible. It's always 1 or 2 bars, 5G never has connection. I have turned off WiFi calling and restarted phone, cleared cache, nothing fixes my text message issue. I'm on the latest version of Message+ on. Samsung Ultra S22 with the latest Android version.
