No Internet access over Primary WiFi network.

We have had Fios for a while, but have recently had problems with accessing the Internet over our Primary WiFi (the non-Guest network). We have been using the G3100 router and everything works fine over the Guest network, but I would like to be able to use the Primary network.

I have been in contact with Fios Tech Support, and through a painstakingly lengthy process, have received another G3100 router, even though I was promised a CR1000 router. Even with the new G3100 my situation has not changed. Am I missing a setting or something that could be causing this issue? Could someone please help me resolve this issue?

I'm having the same issue. After continually losing internet over the main network, I tried the guest network today out of desperation and was very surprised that it connected. Do I need a new router? It would be nice to have an answer on this one.

I came up with a band-aid fix for my WiFi issue. I started statically assigning IP addresses to all the mobile devices, and setting up static connections under the DHCP section of the router config. It's not perfect, but it's working better then using only DHCP.

ha on the positive side. Keeps all these kids off of my wifi. And all there friends that come over.. it's really good for all the gaming they do.. However Same over here.. sometimes I regret adding Verizon. But the interruption is getting annoying sometimes.

** Update** When DHCP is enabled on both the router and personal devices, the devices pull an IP address from the 192.168.107.X network, instead of the 192.168.1.X network, which is the only IP range I can find on the router. It's the 192.168.107.X network that doesn't get Internet access. Anyone have ideas how to fix this?
