Ugly Fios box installed in my yard without informing me what it would look like

I've been told for over a year that Fios would soon be available at my home address. After an unsuccessful attempt to finally activate service last month I was told that Verizon would need to install a box in the ground under my yard. I was under the impression this would be fully buried and concealed, but after workers dug up about a quarter of my yard I now have an ugly, doormat sized gray access panel smack in the middle of my backyard, fully visible from the house. I feel I should have been informed of the size and visibility of this eyesore before agreeing to let them install it, not to mention I was never given anything in writing about what was being done. Now I feel like I just let Verizon tank my property value without being fully informed.

A generic Verizon Deed of Easement have stated this at the time of signing the easement.

(4) The communications system constructed hereunder is and shall remain the property of the Grantee. Grantee shall have the right to inspect, rebuild, remove, repair, remove and relocate its communications system, or any part thereof, within the Easement Area, and may make such changes, alterations, substitutions, additions in and to or extensions of its facilities as it deems advisable without the prior consent of the Grantor.

(6) NOTICE TO LANDOWNER: You are conveying rights to a public service corporation. A public service corporation may have the right to obtain some or all of these rights through exercise of eminent domain.

Notice that if you did not sign the easement with Verizon, but the property's previous owner, township, HOA, or other competent grantor did sign that, the Deed of Easement would still be applied to you.

Workers spent several days searching my property for a box they said should have already been installed. They used sensors and metal probes stuck in the ground. This falsely led me to believe the box they were looking for was small and discrete, if not fully buried. They then asked if I was okay with them installing it in an open area instead of behind my shed where it was originally planned to go. Because I had been misled about the conspicuousness of the equipment, I agreed to the new location. Had I been properly informed about what was being put in I would have insisted it go behind the shed. I just don't want a giant access panel in the middle of my yard. I had planned to plant berry bushes there.
