I recently had to get a new phone because mine which I have had with little trouble before suddenly would not get service and/or got service off and on. I brought it in to the local Verizon store and they gave me a new chip and did some 'adjusting' of the setttings.. I returned to the store soon afterwards with the same issue. I explained that I witnessed a text I was writing delete letter by letter and line by line, a whole paragraph I was trying to send to someone who had a newer phone for sale. I WAS able to text but for the most part couldn't call or receive calls.
After then buying a new phone from them, I realized that I had for the first time run over my data, then realizing I had the wifi turned off when at home so it consumed the data. I strongly believe my phone was hijacked, especially seeing the text delete in front of my eyes.
I look forward to your reply in lieu of a further effort to fix this.
