Can Verizon SIM work on GSM phone in 2023?

Hi, guys I'm wondering whether Verizon SIM card can work on GSM unlocked phone now.

I'm browing phones in Black Friday deal. There is one Zenfone 10, OEM said that this phone can't support CDMA. But I don't know there has issues or not. Because Verizon shutdown 3G CDMA last year and 4G/ 5G should not have differences to connect network. Anyone has experiences or ideas? Thanks
